Day 2..
So I have done one whole day! To be honest - that was my first goal, I don't tend to stick to anything for very long but I managed to stick to this.. whoooop!
I had my 2 shakes yesterday and then decided for dinner to have the maple and pecan porridge and it is, hands down, the worst thing I have ever tasted! It was so incredibly sweet and powdery! Yuk.
Spoke to my consultant and she is going to drop some replacements through my door (I'm lucky that she is so lovely!) I instead had another chocolate mint but this time with hot water. Tasted like a choc mint hot chocolate and was really good, I'm now happy again.
This morning I started off with a butterscotch shake (massive YUM) and will have a toffee and walnut shake for lunch. I read of an old forum that you can make 'shake muffins' so going to try that for my dinner tonight and see how that goes.
All in all, I don't feel too bad, I'm not that hungry and I'm not over tired..... YET!
One thing that is bothering me though, I can't seem to find any recent forums on the CD diet - they all seem to be 2-3 years old and not active. However... I searched the 'hashtag' cambridgediet on instagram and found lots of recent photos etc. Started to have a chat with a couple of girls and we have decided that we will update each other along the way and be 'fat buddies'..... exciting times!
Maybe I will stick to talking to you next week or maybe I will need to talk again tomorrow!

Here we go again...
Right, just over a year ago I decided I would start the blog again - yeah I massively failed.
I always felt so busy and as if I didn't have time to blog but things have changed therefore I have now MADE the time to start this thing again.
Now... the blog is going to be different to my original idea and to be honest, it would be great to have followers but, if I don't, I'm pretty cool with that too as I'm going to use this as a sort of diary (that's alright isn't it?)
So a bit about me. I've been overweight pretty much through all of my teenage years and early 20's. I've battled with diets for years but never got very far with them. However, I now have a goal - My boyfriend of 7 years has asked me to marry him! For most women this is their dream, a big dress, a big day, everyone looking at you. To me, this is my idea of HELL. The last thing I want is everybody looking at me squeezed into a wedding dress. The thought of it makes me cry.
So today I have made the first step to getting in that wedding dress and joined the Cambridge diet. I'm on Sole Source - this consists of three meal replacements a day and LOTS of water. I met with my consultant yesterday for the first time and we went through the plan and I had my weight and measurements taken. At the moment I don't feel comfortable posting my weight but promise that next time I post I will start with aallll my stats and photos. I have 8 stone to loose so as you can probably tell, I am slightly....... large!
I had a chocolate mint shake this morning, followed by a strawberry shake for lunch. I tried my best to prepare myself for the awful taste I knew would come and the fact that I would probably have to force it down. Truth is - they actually don't taste bad at all, in all honesty, I quite enjoyed them! Such a relief, makes me feel slightly more positive about the journey I'm starting. I've also drunk 3 litres of water already today so I know I will be fine with that. I have one more 'meal' to have later today so might try a porridge?
I'm going to leave it here today but I WILL update weekly and will be completely honest about my journey (will even tell you if I cheat!)
See you in a week :)

Hmmmmm
Right, its been a whole 2 years since my last post! Ooopsss. So i have made the decision to start up again, totally from fresh and maybe more life based than just make up, just a thought!
So, I have scheduled an hour slot (hahahaha) to write my first post for this coming weekend. I'm actually looking forward to starting it all again and having somewhere to rant ;)
So, yeah..... I hope my lovely 7 followers (bless, maybe I will get more when I actually start blogging again) are well and I'm hoping that by this time next week, I will have written you the best essay!

Make up!!!
Got some really great bits! In love with ELF Cosmetics at the moment, its such bargain prices and the products are amazing. I joined their facebook group and there are loads of great competitions and offers on there, managed to get free p&p recently! Everything is £1.50, unless you buy from the studio line, which range in price!
Here are some of the AMAZING bargains I picked up:
All Over Colour Stick (Light)
This is great, smaller than I expected but gives a really good even coverage, good to use as a base for eyeshadow! Really nice smooth texture.
Clarifying Pressed Powder (Tone 2)
This is yet again a great product, really soft texture and has complimented my skin really well, got rid of the shine on my T-zone! Love it!
I also bought 3 make up brushes; Blending Eye Brush, Eye Shadow Brush and Defining Eye Brush which have also turned out to be fab!
And my favourite product of all.......................
Eye Primer and Liner Sealer
This is AMAZING! Its has a natural colour base on one end, which applies really well, not too thick and doesn't make my eye shadow go blotchy! The other end looked like clear liquid eyeliner, you mix it with your favourite eye shadow and it turns it into eyeliner, that lasts forever! This cost me £3.50 and i prefer it to my normal eye primer!
So all in all I spent £11 (free p&p) and wow! I would have paid double this for the quality of the products! http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/ / http://www.eyeslipsface.com/
Barry M
Other products I am obsessed with at the mo is Barry M!!
In love with there nail varnish! I prefer matt colours and find it so hard to find matt nail varnish, they all seem to have glitter or a shimmer in them, but Barry M became my favourite brand when I realised I could find the most amazing colours in MATT.

I have most of the colours now, £2.95 each and the are brilliant, go on lovely and doesn't chip!
My favourite at the mo is probably Fuchsia 302, very bright! Everyone compliments me on it when I have it on.
Will do a Barry M post properly in the week!
Loads more make up waiting to be shared so prepare for more reviews!
